There was a house...
...and today is the house.
There was a house in which people were shaped and the crafts developed.
Great Grandmother and great grandfather, a seamstress and a tailor, had two sons. Both of them were drafted during the second world war. Only one of them returned, the shoemaker.
On the hill, together with a girl who was learning to become a cook, he made a home for the whole family with a small orchard, vineyard and fields. They had three daughters.
One of them drew the thread of the family tradition into clothes designing, the other nurtured the cooking and the gardening tradition and the third one transformed her designer's streak into words, decoration and cookery.
